Standard Pricing:

We charge a minimum of $180 to deploy, which covers one stump up to 18" across at ground level, with an additional $10 per inch within our service area. Please refer to our "Stump Measuring" graphic. Removal of woodchips is an extra service (see below).

Cleanup Options: 

• $    0  > Backfill (Most Popular): We leave the chips in a neat pile where the old stump was located. Our service turns the stump into a pile of organic wood chips, great for your soil and acts as a natural mulch. 

• $175++ > Full Haul-Away (Extra): We remove all mulch/debris and rake the area clean, with enough mulch left behind to fill the hole where the stump was removed. The price is generally equal to the price of the base stump grinding service.

• $15++ > Soil Backfill (Extra): For Full Haul-Away jobs, we can backfill with 0.75 Cubic foot bags of top soil. Price is per bag needed to fill the hole.

Additional charges:

• $  2++ > Outside Service Area -  per mile for jobs over 20 miles outside our service area.

• $  3++ > Tall Stump -  per inch for stumps taller than 8" (which will need to be cut down with a chainsaw). We are not equipped to grind stumps over 6' tall. If the stump is less 8" across at ground level, this fee will be waived.

• $40++ >  Site Prep / Difficult Access - icluding brush or obstacles that need to be moved to access the stump(s). See our Prep Your Property page for help avoiding this fee.

Discount:

 For jobs of three or more stumps, a 15% discount is applied.
